People on the Move: Kathy Moe, FDIC San Francisco
The FDIC has appointed Kathy Moe regional director for the San Francisco region. Moe has been the acting regional director for the region since March 2016. She oversees the FDIC’s bank supervision and consumer protection activities in Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. The San Francisco Region supervises 294 institutions with assets of more than $597 billion, according to the FDIC. Moe has been with the FDIC for more than 30 years, holding leadership positions such as deputy regional director in the division of risk management in the San Francisco region and field supervisor for the Phoenix field territory.
