People on the Move: Simon Moran, Yoyo
London-based mobile payment and customer engagement startup Yoyo has hired former PayPal General Manager Simon Moran as its first vice president of commercial. Moran will be responsible for growing Yoyo’s presence in the U.K retail sector, as well as continuing the company’s growth in the corporate and education verticals. Moran has been active in the payments and fintech space since 2000, having previously worked at Visa and American Express before joining PayPal in 2008, where he was a key member of the payments giant’s U.K. senior leadership team.
