Great Southern Bank takes commercial lending to nCino cloud
Missouri-based Great Southern Bank has selected nCino’s Bank Operating System for a revamp of its commercial loan process.
The bank has more than 100 offices in nine states, and has grown as a result of acquisitions and organic expansions over the past eight years. According to nCino, this growth prompted the bank to look for a solution to automate and streamline the loan process.
By using Bank Operating System, nCino says the bank is gaining a single cloud-based platform, built on Salesforce, that combines customer relationship management (CRM), loan origination, workflow, content management, business process management and instant reporting.
Ryan Storey, director of loan operations at Great Southern Bank, says nCino’s system enables it to close loans “more quickly and with more accuracy than before” and it is looking to extend its partnership with nCino in the future.
Great Southern Bank was founded in 1923, and has $4.4 billion in total assets and more than 1,260 employees. It is headquartered in Springfield, Missouri, and has 104 retail banking centres in that state, and Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota and Nebraska. In addition, it has three commercial loan offices in Texas, Oklahoma and Chicago; and one home loan office in Missouri.
Cloud and proud
nCino has been getting plenty of action over the last few months.
This month, Kansas-based CrossFirst Bank implemented Bank Operating System for its commercial loan process.
Last month, North Carolina-based North State Bank went live on Bank Operating System.
While in March, Valley National Bank, a $23 billion financial institution in New Jersey, announced it was implementing nCino’s system for commercial lending.
