People on the Move: Mark Butler, Qualys Inc.
Qualys Inc., a provider of cloud-based security and compliance solutions, has appointed former Fiserv executive Mark Butler as chief information security officer. In the role, Butler will direct Qualys’s security and compliance services across its 9,300 customers in more than 100 countries. Butler has more than 20 years of IT security experience, working with executive management, IT leadership and legal counsel at a variety of companies.
Prior to joining Qualys, Butler served as vice president, chief information security officer and enterprise security information officer at Fiserv. He also has held roles in global security consulting, independent technical research and comprehensive assessment services, as well as several key security roles at H&R Block.
