People on the Move: Wayne Mitchell, AFEX
Global payment and risk management solutions provider AFEX has appointed Wayne Mitchell as general manager, EMEA. In the role, Mitchell will help lead AFEX’s push to grow its presence across Europe, where it has opened several new offices over the past two years.
Mitchell brings to AFEX more than 30 years of leadership experience in the international payments and FX industry. Most recently, he served as CEO at payments firm Baydonhill Plc between 2006 and 2016. Prior to that, he held management positions at U.S.-based B2B payments specialist Ruesch International.
