Wellspring FCU converts to new core processing system
Wellspring Credit Union, a $48 million entity in the US state of Texas, has gone live with a new core processing system supplied by Utah-based tech developer FLEX.
Janna Achord, CEO of Wellspring CU, says it was the integration, streamlining of processes and internet/mobile banking functionality offered by FLEX that swayed the credit union.
Sean Holcomb, FLEX’s COO, says the number of the vendor’s customers in Texas now stands at 41.
“With 16% of FLEX users based in Texas, Wellspring will be among friends as it transitions to FLEX credit union technology,” Holcomb adds.
FLEX is based in Salt Lake City. It focuses on the low- and mid-tier markets in the US, and has a customer base of around 250 credit unions.
