Bankart and Nets to deliver new payments infrastructure to Slovenian banking sector
Bankart and Nordic payments processor Nets will provide the Slovenian banking sector with a new payments central infrastructure to handle both SEPA Credit Transfers (SCT) non-urgent and SCT instant credit transfers.
The duo has signed an agreement where Nets will deploy and operate an instant payments solution for Bankart via Nets’ RealTime24/7 solution. The latter has an open API architecture and includes support for PSD2.
Aleksander Kurtevski, MD, Bankart, says it has teamed with Nets because “we together can deliver on scalable, resilient and robust services and at the same time ensuring a high degree of flexibility”.
The new system is planned to go-live in September 2018 and will be operated from Nets’ data centres in Norway.
Nets provides financial institutions, merchants and clearing settlement mechanisms (CSMs) with card services, account payment services and merchant payment solutions.
Bankart is based in Ljubljana and was founded in 1998. If offers services in card processing, ATM transactions and POS processing to banks and other financial institutions.
