Onosys, LevelUp ‘Supercharge’ New Customer Acquisition for Restaurants
LevelUp’s nearly 1 million active users, as well as Chase Pay mobile wallet users, will have access to thousands more restaurants for order- and pay-ahead options, thanks to a deal with Onosys.
Onosys provides custom digital-ordering solutions for restaurant brands including Outback Steakhouse, Boston Pizza and Round Table Pizza that are now available to millions of potential new consumers through LevelUp and its many partner properties. As a result, participating restaurants gain instant access to new customers and benefit from incremental new revenues at no additional cost, according to an announcement.
By integrating with the Onosys digital-ordering platform, LevelUp’s users now have thousands of more restaurants to choose from, the companies said.
“Our integration with Onosys provides merchants access to brand new customer acquisition channels, while also giving consumers more variety in the restaurants they can order from via the LevelUp app and the partner properties we power,” said Seann Moriarty, head of partnerships at LevelUp.
When a mobile order is placed through the LevelUp network to a participating Onosys customer, the order flows through the Onosys digital-ordering platform to the appropriate restaurant location’s point-of-sale system.
Chase in December announced its partnership with Boston-based LevelUp, which gives Chase Pay mobile wallet users the ability to order and preemptively pay for their meals at quick-service restaurants as well as having access to rewards and special offers.
That partnership followed a 2015 deal with mobile carrier billing specialist Danal to enable LevelUp users to pay for in-store purchases with mobile minutes, starting with Sprint.
