Turn gaming into investing with Invstr’s newest app
Invstr, the social and investment game app, has launched a new product which will give UK members the ability to trade fractional shares.
In a new partnership with DriveWealth, a digital mobile broker-dealer for retail investors, members can invest in companies with limited funds, before they have the financial resources to buy and sell whole shares.
Once implemented, the Invstr app will allow for an end-to-end financial learning resource which allows members to discover, learn and practice investing in the markets, before trading in real-world stocks. Members can then, invest from $1 in US stocks, exchange traded funds (ETFs) and American depositary receipts (ADRs) with transaction fees of $0.99 per fractional share or $2.99 for whole shares.
Kerim Derhalli, founder and CEO of Invstr, says “that the financial world was simply not accessible or understandable for the average person” and now we can “enable anyone with a smartphone and $1 to become an investor”.
The app is designed to provide financial news, market data with live quotes for over 1,300 instruments, a social feed for members, technical charting tools, and investment and prediction games which allows investors to practice safely before investing with real money.
