Studio Bank starts up with CSI’s core and mobile banking
Tennessee-based Studio Bank has powered up in the US and selected Computer Services Inc (CSI) as its core and mobile banking technology provider.
Studio, which filed its application to become Nashville’s “first newly chartered de novo bank in nearly a decade”, plans to use CSI’s NuPoint core processing solution for an omnichannel and “hyper-local” strategy.
Aaron Dorn, chairman, president and CEO of Studio Bank, states it has the “opportunity to be the first local bank in nearly a decade to design a client service model from scratch and offer a mobile and online experience that aligns seamlessly with our unique in-branch experience”.
CSI’s core and digital banking solutions are “directly integrated”, and according to Studio Bank executives, the firm’s “advanced banking solutions, as well as its shared approach in providing a high-touch experience for its clients”, were the two “essential” factors in the selection process.
Studio will use an array of digital banking solutions, including self-service features like card on/off, mobile deposit, and commercial cash management.
The “boutique bank” recently filed its application for a banking charter and Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) insurance with the Tennessee Department of Financial Institutions.
