UBS seeks global finance and risk tech CTO
Swiss private banking and wealth management giant UBS is looking for a chief technology officer (CTO) for finance and risk technology.
UBS’s finance and risk technology is a global organisation with a concentrated presence in New York, Zurich, London and India. It drives technology to support external and regulatory reporting, capital adequacy, liquidity and funding controls and reporting. It also provides technology support to the bank’s integrated middle office and financial control function in the daily substantiation of P&L and the balance sheet.
The bank is looking for someone to help it define the technology strategy and roadmap across the organisation globally; establish review and governance processes; represent finance and risk technology in the global technology CTO organisation; and take the lead on helping to shape how the business works as a technology organisation; evaluate opportunities for agile adoption and DevOps toolsets; and run programmes that help roll-out and track adoption.
“We are about 60,000 employees in all major financial centres, in almost 900 offices and more than 50 countries. Do you want to be one of us?” UBS asks in a job post on LinkedIn.
“We offer people around the world a supportive, challenging and diverse working environment. We value your passion and commitment, and reward your performance,” it states. “Keen to achieve the work-life agility that you desire? We’re open to discussing how this could work for you (and us).”
