FinLeap makes it nice and Beesy with Italian venture
Fintech company builder FinLeap has founded its first firm, Beesy, in Italy as it seeks to strengthens its activities abroad.
FinLeap is active in 15 countries through its portfolio companies, and is now developing the start-up with Fabrick, an Italian platform for open banking.
Beesy offers a digital financial management solution for accounting, tax and banking services for micro enterprises and freelancers.
Marco Berini, MD of FinLeap in Italy, says the partnership with Fabrick was “crucial to launching Beesy within just a few months”.
As soon as Beesy is launched, FinLeap will provide more details about the services and how they work.
In terms of the Italian market, in autumn 2017, FinLeap opened an office with 20 staff. The team is to grow to 40 by the end of the year.
Founded in 2014 by HitFox Group and Ramin Niroumand, FinLeap has developed 14 ventures with its technical infrastructure.
These include B2B companies such as solarisBank, the first banking platform with a full banking licence; FinReach an account switching service provider; and B2C companies such as Clark, a digital insurance broker.
