Linedata acquires French start-up Loansquare
Linedata has acquired French start-up Loansquare as it looks to beef up its platforms and services for lenders.
Financial details were not disclosed. According to Linedata, the Loansquare platform is a solution for setting up and managing commercial loans between borrowers and financial institutions.
This comprises a borrower portal to let lenders manage their loan portfolio, and a servicing portal for managing financial flows.
François Lévy, Loansquare CEO, says: “The complementarities between the Linedata and Loansquare platforms enables us to satisfy this need in a truly innovative way, connecting banks and borrowers with the same user experience and standards demanded by consumers in their dealings with institutions.”
Loansquare now interoperates with Linedata Uniloan360, a servicing platform for commercial and syndicated loans; Linedata Capitalstream, a commercial loans origination and risk management platform; and Linedata Ekip360, a leasing, car finance and consumer loans solution.
Headquartered in France, Linedata has been around for 20 years and has 700+ clients in 50 countries.
Back in 2017, Linedata bought outsourcing firm QRMO. That followed on from the acquisition of Gravitas, a US-based provider of middle office and technology services.
