Orowealth acquires wealthtech app Wealthtrust
Mumbai-based direct mutual fund Orowealth has acquired wealth management app Wealthtrust.
Financial details were not disclosed and details were very thin on the ground. There was no information on any job changes or redundancies.
According to Wealthtrust, its app will remain active till 8 March 2019 until the migration to Orowealth is complete.
Wealthtrust comments: “We’ll set you up on the Orowealth app, and make sure that your portfolio is synced and ready for transacting.”
Once the migration is complete, users will continue to get the features from Wealthtrust.
On its website, Wealthtrust offers investing, portfolio tracking and advisory services. For example. it offers a personal advisor, and OroAssist. The latter constantly scans a user’s portfolio and lets them know when something needs to change.
OroWealth says it has IND 8 billion ($113 million) assets under advisory and 30,000 users.
