SafeCharge payments engine sends Kiwi.com flying
Online travel provider Kiwi.com has rolled out the SafeCharge Payments Engine to accept payments from travellers anywhere in the world
According to SafeCharge, it offers direct connections to major card schemes – such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Union Pay – and over 150 local payment methods.
Natália Čermáková, payment specialist at Kiwi.com, says: “Our partnership with SafeCharge will allow us to offer to our clients more payment products, more currencies and an improved overall customer experience. This is key for a company as Kiwi.com that aims to quickly roll out in new markets.”
SafeCharge will be providing local and international processing services under one roof, enabling Kiwi.com to manage its transaction flows.
For its part, Kiwi.com has its “Virtual Interlining Technology” which can analyse over 15 billion flight combinations – from non-cooperating airlines – into a single itinerary.
Kiwi.com (formally known as SkyPicker) was founded in 2012 by Oliver Dlouhý and Jozef Képesi.
SafeCharge has been listed on the London Stock Exchange AIM market since 2014 and is on a nice little charge at the moment.
Last week, it extended its partnership with transportation app Gett to streamline payment reconciliation processes.
