Conversion platform BookingBug rebrands as JRNI
Customer engagement platform BookingBug has rebranded as JRNI, reports Jane Connolly.
The company aims to help users achieve omnichannel conversion, driving online traffic in-store or in-branch. JRNI’s applications include Appointments, Events, Queuing, Call Centre and Insights.
Co-founder Glenn Shoosmith has taken on the role of Chief Architect.
John Federman, who has a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) background and roots in retail and financial services, has become the new CEO. John was formerly CEO of cloud-based content management platform Webcollage.
John says: “Companies strive to leverage every customer interaction for maximum conversion. With so much research and purchase activity starting online, JRNI’s ability to guide prospects and customers from the web to a physical location or across any channel throughout their full journey is an exciting prospect.”
Glenn Shoosmith founded the company in 2008 after being inspired by the overly complex and ineffective process of trying to schedule a squash game.
