Hughes FCU picks Fiserv to go digital
Hughes Federal Credit Union, a Tucson-based institution, has selected Fiserv’s Architect solution for a range of online, mobile and payments services.
“In a competitive market and an era of increasing expectations, it is important that we offer a distinct set of digital banking and payments capabilities that sets us apart from other financial institutions,” says Rich Griesser, vice president of Information Technology, Hughes Federal Credit Union.
A Fiserv survey says that the majority (58%)of consumers now prefer to interact with their primary financial institutions via online or mobile channels.
Hughes says it selected Architect because of its open framework and flexibility.
The credit union will maintain control over its service offerings through an open framework platform that facilitates integration of additional capabilities such as alerts, electronic bill payments and person-to-person payments, which the credit union will offer utilising Turnkey Service for Zelle.
Established in Tucson in 1952, Hughes Federal Credit Union has $1.2 billion in assets and 128,000 members.
