B3 and Itiviti join forces for global connectivity
B3, the Brazilian stock exchange, has joined Itiviti’s Global Alliance Programme (GAP) to give B3 members reliable connectivity to firms around the world, writes Jane Connolly.
Mondo Visione reports that through Itiviti’s NYFIX portal, B3 members will be able to access services such as advanced analytics, monitoring and post-trade processing.
The NYFIX global ecosystem connects 1,600 buy and sell-side firms of all sizes, including more than 150 exchanges and alternative venues.
This is the latest in a series of NYFIX partnerships Itiviti has made since its merger with Ullink in 2018, as the company pushes to increase investment in its Latin America order routing network.
Lael Wakefield, head of Americas at Itiviti, says: “Through Itiviti GAP we’re expanding a strong capital markets ecosystem of technologically savvy firms and providing access to our order routing network, customised TCA reporting and industry-leading NYFIX Matching.”
Adolpho Bianchi, superintendent of products, technology services and market data at B3, adds: “The combined services of B3 and Itiviti’s NYFIX improves the ease of access to Brazilian clients on a global scale, creating a higher quality experience across the board for all DMA, drop copies and order messages.”
NYFIX has reportedly provided continuous service over more than a decade, with zero downtime.
