PAI acquires Eclipse Cash Systems
Payment Alliance International (PAI) has extended its ATM network from 75,000 to more than 90,000 terminals across the US with the acquisition of Eclipse Cash Systems, reports Jane Connolly.
PAI is the country’s largest privately held provider of ATMs and offers a variety of ATM portfolio management tools and services. The company sees Eclipse’s mobile events portfolio and direct ATM placement business as important expansion opportunities.
Financial details have not been disclosed for the deal, which will also see PAI add four financial institution partnerships to its network.
“The opportunity to join PAI is important to all of us at Eclipse,” says CEO Chris Biedrzycki, who joins PAI along with his entire team. “PAI provides scale, as well as industry-leading portfolio management tools for our market partners. Leveraging PAI’s infrastructure and ATM expertise will benefit both our customers and staff through continued growth.”
The Eclipse team will continue to work out of its Chandler, Arizona base.
