Tinkoff launches Pulse social network for investors
Russian commercial bank Tinkoff is launching a free social network for investors called Pulse.
The network will be accessible via the Tinkoff Investments mobile app, giving users the opportunity to meet traders, follow investors and share trading ideas.
Tinkoff’s app is now a “one-stop shop” for all communication, where users can make posts, leave comments, view related posts and receive alerts about new posts or transactions.
“Unlike our peers with similar solutions, we are creating a community for the greatest possible number of people, not only catering to seasoned investors,” says Tinkoff’s new products development vice president, Alexander Emeshev.
He adds: “For each portfolio, Pulse will show corresponding transactions, assets, issuers, industries and currencies together with its monetary value and annual return. All these details will provide a solid basis for making crucial trading decisions.”
All customers with a Tinkoff Investments brokerage account can use Pulse, and they can look forward to future additions such as photo and video functionality.
Also in the social network pipeline is contests to win prizes and even Tinkoff rewards for “quality content” and “profile popularity”.
Although currently in beta testing stage, Pulse is set to be available to all Tinkoff Investments customers on Android early next week, and later on iOS devices. There are also plans for the service to be accessible via web, at Tinkoff.ru.
