Tandem Bank signs up TrueLayer for account aggregation
UK challenger Tandem Bank has signed an agreement with API firm TrueLayer that will see the pair connect 800,000 customers to their other bank accounts through aggregation.
According to TrueLayer, the API integration will support all major European banks and challengers, including Monzo, Revolut and Starling Bank.
Tandem Bank users will be able to see all their financial information from the Tandem app.

Paul Clark, chief technology officer at Tandem, adds that the bank differentiates itself with a “unique user experience”. With TrueLayer, he states, Tandem will be able to strengthen its account aggregation services and open up opportunities for more customer insights.
Truelayer announced a recent expansion to Australia, a partnership with Visa and a $35 million funding round led by Tencent and Temasek.
