TransPecos Bank signs up Nymbus for core banking transformation
Texas-based TransPecos Bank has signed up Nymbus for a complete revamp of its core banking infrastructure.
The project will see Nymbus deploy multiple products at TransPecos, including its cloud based SmartCore system.
The vendor’s SmartDigital platform will cover online banking and SmartPayments system take care of payments processing.
TransPecos already deploys Nymbus technology at its digital offshoot brand BankMD.
The vendor covers onboarding, internet banking and mobile banking for BankMD, which was founded with the intention of serving medical professionals in the state of Texas.
Mike Kozub, president and CEO at TransPecos, admits that the BankMD project endeared his firm to Nymbus.
“Our BankMD partnership with Nymbus SmartLaunch helped us quickly deploy new digital experiences and capture revenue opportunities with minimal cost or disruption to our existing business,” he says.
“Our experience with Nymbus convinced us they were the right choice for rebuilding our larger bank infrastructure.”
David Mitchell, president of Nymbus, adds that his firm has “had the great pleasure to support TransPecos in their business transformation.”
It’s been a fast start to 2020 for Nymbus, having already won a deal with Massachusetts-based PeoplesBank in late January.
