Nationwide picks AutoRek for reconciliation and data management
Nationwide Building Society has tapped AutoRek to provide it with automated reconciliation and data management solutions.
The vendor claims that it came out on top in a “competitive tender process” to win a project that will involve a multi-stage implementation across mortgages, ATMs, payments, cards and substantiation.
Ian Williams, director of financial control and operations at Nationwide, says that the building society was impressed with AutoRek’s “speed, adaptability, and robustness.”
Williams also says that AutoRek’s ability to deploy in the cloud would help Nationwide “face into the future with confidence non scale and volume.”
Nationwide is considered to be leading the race for the acquisition of the £1.9 billion mortgage book put up for sale by Sainsbury’s Bank.
The building society also announced the launch of an API sandbox for the creation of new mortgage processing systems late last year.
“I am really pleased to welcome an organisation of Nationwide’s caliber to our list of clients,” says Gordon McHarg, AutoRek managing director.
“We are looking forward to building a good working relationship with the team and providing them with our experience in helping leading financial services firms better understand their transactional data.”
