Refinitiv invests in Microsoft Teams partner ModuleQ
Refinitiv has invested in and extended a partnership agreement with ModuleQ, a Microsoft partner for Office 365 and Microsoft Teams.
The deal will see information and financial data integrated into Microsoft Teams users and “directly into their workflow”.
ModuleQ uses an intelligent app to predict users’ current priorities while working in Microsoft Teams and deliver “timely and relevant content, news and analytics.”
Refinitiv and ModuleQ have held a partnership since 2018, collaborating to use the former’s Intelligent Tagging and Knowledge Graph platforms.
“The difference between winning and losing a customer or a deal for an advisor, particularly in these markets and working virtually, is being first with news and unique insights that are most relevant,” says Ben Shepherd, chief strategy and innovation officer at Refinitiv.
“With ModuleQ, we look forward to getting our data and tools to customers where they work, as they need it in fast-growing Microsoft Teams. We see great possibilities for customers in deepening our partnership with ModuleQ.”
Financial details of the investment were not disclosed.
ModuleQ has raised $6.5 million of disclosed funding to date from five rounds.
