Dwolla appoints Brady Harris as new CEO
Payments platform Dwolla has announced the appointment of Brady Harris as its new CEO.
Harris joins the Iowa-based firm from Payscape, where he spent two and half years as president. Prior to that he spent 16 years at Eliot Management Group, joining as an account executive in 2001 before leaving as president.
The new CEO says that Dwolla has “an incredible team, best-in-class platform and groundbreaking vision,” and is positioned to “grow dramatically” over the next few years.
Dwolla currently supports more than $10 billion a year in gross payment volume, and claims to be experiencing 100% year-on-year (YoY) growth.
It reported that in the last quarter of 2019 just under one million new users were onboarded onto the Dwolla platform.
The firm signed a payments partnership with personal finance app Status Money in February.
“With his extensive background and innumerable successes in the payments industry, Brady is the right person to lead the industry into the next era of programmable payments,”says Dwolla founder Ben Milne.
