Hi-Pay launches Mongolian payments gateway with ACI Worldwide
Mongolian ecommerce firm High Payment Solutions (Hi-Pay) has launches a new payments hub in its home country with the help of technology from ACI Worldwide.
ACI to help Hi-Pay open up international payments
Hi-Pay picked ACI’s UP eCommerce Payments solution, including an integrated secure payments gateway and fraud management capabilities. The system is also combined with ACI’s UP Real-Time Payments solution.
Through the ACI systems, Hi-Pay hopes to set up an internationally compatible payments hub and network to supplement the country’s existing T-Card bank network.
“A growing number of Mongolian consumers are regularly shopping online, utilizing both domestic and cross-border eCommerce platforms to access an ever-expanding range of products,” says Battulga Naranbat, CEO at Hi-Pay.
“However, consumers need access to secure and reliable payment methods to shop domestically and across global platforms and marketplaces. ACI has a proven track record in helping payment service providers to scale and expand globally.”
Leslie Choo, managing director for Asia at ACI Worldwide, says that Hi-Pay is “ideally positioned” to lead the development of Mongolia’s payments ecosystem.
