Rocker and Enfuce sign Nordic card issuance partnership
Swedish neobank Rocker has teamed up with Finnish payments fintech Enfuce to enable the former to issue Visa prepaid cards.
Rocker, which changed its name from Bynk in January, allows users to pause loans, merge several different loans into one, and change instalment plans all through its app.
The newly declared neobank has already launched a smart debit card and has plans to open up a savings service later this year. Rocker was looking for a “flexible solution” to underpin its prepaid card offering when it found Enfuce.
The fintech will aid in licensing, compliance and payment processing at Rocker. The neobank will be able to create “feature-rich cards compatible with any payment method, currency or geography.”
Enfuce is also covering Rocker on the operational side with a suite of back-office services including dispute and risk management, and service desk support.
‘We are a tech company building a retail banking platform with services that are more flexible, super easy to use and more affordable,” says Oscar Hyléen, deputy CEO at Rocker.
“As we expand towards our vision of becoming Europe’s number one future neobank and offer people the chance to replace their old bank, we need strong and flexible infrastructure partners to be part of the platform creation.”
