Mambu inks partnership with Google Cloud
Mambu, the Berlin-based banking technology firm, has agreed a partnership with Google Cloud.
The deal will allow Mambu to operate end-to-end on Google Cloud, something which the firm hopes will bring its software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform to “a host of new financial services institutions”.
Mambu has integrated its entire platform onto Google Cloud. This includes the various banking and lending engines, process orchestrator, payment integrations, ecosystem connectors and supporting services.
The companies began integration in February 2020 and went live in May 2020, coinciding with the launch of a new digital bank in Asia Pacific on Mambu technology.
“We continue to see more financial institutions looking to make the move to the cloud, and in particular, looking for a cloud native solution,” says Ben Goldin, chief technology officer at Mambu.
“Cloud allows customers to innovate fast, reconfigure products and services quickly, and develop products that customers actually want. This makes them more competitive, incur lower costs and removes risk.”
For Chris Arisian, director of partnerships at Google Cloud, the deal means that banks can extend their Mambu-powered digital banking services onto Google Cloud’s “global, elastic, and secure infrastructure.”
