Mambu partners with VeriTran to create digital banking solutions in LatAm
Cloud core banking technology vendor Mambu has signed a partnership with low-code platform provider VeriTran.
According to Mambu, the new deal means that VeriTran’s front-end capabilities will integrate with Mambu’s true SaaS cloud banking platform, resulting in “a streamlined solution” for banks in the US and Latin America.
Omar Arab, executive vice present for corporate business at VeriTran, says that as digital transformation becomes a priority for customers, the app economy “continues to play a critical role in driving business innovation.”
He adds: “We are excited to welcome Mambu into our financial ecosystem. We see them as a valuable partner in providing a highly configurable back-end platform and we view this collaboration as the next step in delivering a best-in-class digital platform to our clients.”
Latin America is seen a fertile ground for digital banking innovation. The region has some 650 million people living in it, yet almost half do not have a traditional bank account.
For its part, Mambu has been picking up a diverse range of customers in recent months, including UK challenger bank Tide, Singapore’s Goldbell Financial Services, and Australian credit firm Nimble.
“Bringing VeriTran onboard as a partner reinforces our global strategy to connect seamlessly with the best-of-breed technology providers,” says Edgardo Torres-Caballero, the vendor’s managing director for Latin America.
