Finastra and Microsoft extend cloud deal
Finastra and Microsoft have signed a multi-year cloud agreement.
This will ensure that Microsoft’s Azure platform continues to underpin Finastra solutions.
Azure will power the FusionFabric.cloud marketplace offering for the foreseeable future. The vendor is also deploying Microsoft solutions across its own operations.
Simon Paris, CEO of Finastra, calls the deal a “step change” in the relationship between the two companies.
“Together with Microsoft, we can provide people, businesses and communities with the solutions and services that fit around their needs and lives.”
Finastra claims that its existing usage of Azure has enabled it to enable cloud solutions for 8,500 clients.
The vendor uses Azure as a host for several of its cloud-based solutions. This includes Fusion MortgagebotLOS, Fusion uOpen, Fusion Global PAYplus, and Fusion Essence.
“Finastra’s open developer platform, built on Microsoft Azure, is leading the way in accelerating collaboration and innovation in financial services,” says Scott Guthrie, executive vice president for cloud and AI at Microsoft.
“Together we will fuel the digital transformation of financial services.”
