Financial Plus Credit Union goes live with MDT’s Banno Digital Platform
Michigan-based Financial Plus Credit Union (FPCU) has gone live on the Banno Digital Platform from Member Driven Technologies (MDT).
FPCU is aiming to extend its digital reach using Banno Digital Platform. The system is a complimentary add-on for Jack Henry & Associate’s Symitar Episys core processing software.
The credit union is a 20-year Symitar customer, and aimed to extend its products offering through MDT.
“This is an exciting time in the industry; members are exploring new and different ways to conduct their banking from within digital channels,” says Brad Bergmooser, CEO of FPCU.
“Our implementation of the Banno Digital Platform positions us to be a leading digital-first banking provider.”
Financial Plus Credit Union is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial institution with around 55,000 members in 34 counties across Michigan.
Bergmooser adds that his firm expects greater digital needs in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“COVID-19 really put an exclamation point on what we already believed: the future of banking is digital.
“We expect to see greater, faster adoption in the pandemic’s wake as more people embrace new ways of banking.”
FPCU is part of a consortium of backers funding LenderClose, a technology firm aiming to boost the speed of lending among credit unions.
