Pyramid Federal Credit Union signs for Clear Core data solution
Pyramid Federal Credit Union has signed for Clear Core’s Drive data analytics and insight platform.
A non-profit, member-owned financial institution, Pyramid serves 17,000 members in the Greater Tucson area in Arizona.
Clear Core claims its alpha partnership with Pyramid allows the two organisations to work closely together. The deal means the credit union can provide quicker iterations of new features.
Clear Core founded in 2019, is a financial technology company and resident at the University of Arizona’s Center for Innovation.
The company focuses on automatically cleaning a financial institution’s data before running it through models.
Ray Lancaster, CEO of Pyramid Federal Credit Union, says Clear Core has the “technical know-how and understanding of a community-based financial institution.”
Tim Strasser, founder of Clear Core, says data-driven decision-making is “critical” to the future of any organisation. “But with credit unions and banks, it’s harder because of years of poor data quality.”
Clear Core claims it uses several approaches to clean data, including machine learning and artificial intelligence.
