JP Morgan Asset Management signs Morgan Money deal with SAP
JP Morgan Asset Management has signed a partnership agreement with SAP.
The deal sees the asset management firm provide the SAP’s clients with its Morgan Money liquidity management platform.
SAP Treasury Management portal hosts Morgan Money through an integration with the SAP Cloud Platform.
The JP Morgan system is a multi-currency, open architecture trading and risk management solution. Launched in 2019, it aims to deliver “end-to-end system integration” and allow customers to invest “when and how they want”.
“This is a significant partnership that harnesses the scale and expertise of two industry leaders,” says Paul Przyvylski, head of product strategy for global liquidity at JP Morgan Asset Management.
“The agreement will enable SAP’s substantial Treasury Management customer base to directly access Morgan Money, delivering a real-time dashboard to invest, a single access point for operations, and enhanced risk management controls.”
According to 2019 data from Deloitte, 80% of asset managers plan to move the cloud in the near future. Direct access to new products and services was highlighted as a key driving factor.
“Corporate treasurers are looking for a streamlined customer experience,” says Falk Rieker, global head of IBU banking at SAP America.
“JP Morgan Asset Management’s SAP partnership is a great example of how we enable our customers to consume innovative financial solutions and services.”
JP Morgan Asset Management holds around $2.2 trillion in assets. Its parent bank has a series of existing deals with SAP. These include expense management software Concur and procurement system Ariba.
