Christian Investors Financial picks Finastra core system
US-based Christian Investors Financial (CIF), a fund set up to provide cash to church groups and communities, has selected Finastra’s core processing platform.
CIF is deploying Finastra’s Phoenix core and Fusion Digital Banking solutions, both deployed on Microsoft’s Azure cloud.
The vendor says CIF wanted integrated solutions for document management, self-service account opening, and account-to-account transfers.
Scott Achterling, CIF president and CEO, says it wanted to provide services akin to larger lenders.
“We currently don’t have a mobile app or online account opening capabilities — services that our customers increasingly expect.
“Now, customers will be able to do this with a seamless, omnichannel digital experience that feeds directly into our core.”
CIF is moving from an in-house legacy core platform. Finastra says the firm will free up time for staff to focus “even greater attention on their customers”.
It adds that since Fusion Phoenix is “built entirely on Microsoft technology”, CIF staff will find the system” intuitive to use”.
Finastra says CIF employees can enjoy “seamless integration” with a handful of other Microsoft software and services.
Finastra and Microsoft extended their cloud partnership earlier this year.
