American Business Bank picks Teslar Software to refresh commercial lending
American Business Bank (ABB) has selected Teslar Software to furnish its commercial lending operations and personalise customer service.
ABB, a $3.5 billion Los Angeles-based bank, selected Teslar due to its “comprehensive capabilities.” It picked up the vendor’s automated workflow and portfolio management tools.
ABB is also fully leveraging Teslar’s Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) solutions to offer an “easier origination and loan forgiveness process”.
The bank has funded 1,300 PPP loans worth more than $900 million, and claims to have saved 50,000 jobs as a result.
“Our bank is a believer in partnerships with our customers as well as our service providers,” says ABB executive vice president, Suzanne Dondanville.
“It was critical to find a committed and forward thinking technology partner to assist us in enhancing the client experience with the use of technology. Teslar Software checked all the right boxes.”
Dondanville says the bank has been “beyond impressed” with Teslar’s “customer-centric approach”.
She adds: “Their team continues to be generous with their time and talents, working closely alongside us to help community businesses.”
ABB plans to expand its work with Teslar to manage small business administration (SBA) loan origination and processing.
Last year saw Teslar win deals with Pinnacle Bancorp and Citizens Bank. Other new uses of its platforms include Great Plains National Bank and Pendleton Community Bank.
