Nest Bank picks Fiserv for card issuance revamp
Polish lender Nest Bank has selected Fiserv, via its First Data brand, to provide a suite of card issuance services.
Fiserv is set to provide comprehensive management and service of the bank’s debit and credit card programs. This will include both traditional and online card issuing, as well as fraud monitoring.
The bank has recently completed a migration of its card data with Fiserv, with the vendor plugging in transaction monitoring and “accurate data analyses”.
Founded in 1995, and formerly known as FM Bank, Nest Bank provides services to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and individuals.
“We decided to choose Fiserv as our partner in the field of credit card outsourcing because we share common values,” says Agnieszka Porębska-Kość, board member at Nest Bank.
“We are a bank that focuses on digital customer service channels and develops them intensively. That is why it was vital for us to acquire an innovative partner such as Fiserv.
“We also appreciate the company’s contribution to shaping a modern cashless payment market in Poland.”
Nest Bank also plans to develop its online and mobile channels for payments, and is tapping Fiserv to help provide the backbone.
“Consumers continue to rely on the convenience of card payments,” says Krzysztof Polończyk, First Data Poland president.
“As they conduct more activities digitally, services like online card issuing will continue to meet their needs for secure, convenient payments.”
