OnPath Federal Credit Union selects NCR digital banking tech
Louisiana-based OnPath Federal Credit Union has selected NCR to power its digital banking experience for consumers and business members.
The credit union is deploying NCR’s DI platform. It will move its consumer and business banking onto a single system.
NCR says the credit union will “increase operational efficiencies” and “ensure a consistent experience”.
Candace Washington, vice president of member engagement at OnPath, says the new strategy is the best way to gain new users.
She adds: “With NCR, we can provide the seamless, flexible digital experiences that allow our members to better manage their finances.”
Founded in 1961 as ASI FCU, OnPath focuses on individuals and businesses in Southeast Louisiana.
The credit union has around $300 million in assets, and more than 64,000 members. It operates ten branches across four Louisiana parishes.
“Digital engagement has never been more important for member loyalty, profitability or competitive positioning,” said Douglas Brown, senior vice president and general manager for digital banking at NCR.
“We are excited to partner with OnPath FCU as they prioritize digital transformation to boost member growth and retention.”
NCR acquired digital onboarding firm Terafina in February to bolster its digital banking platform. Michael Hayford, NCR president and CEO, has outlined its banking intentions as a “key aspect” of its strategy going forward.
The firm signed up both Wintrust Financial Corporation and California-based Police Credit Union towards the end of 2020.
Recent Louisiana-based banking deals include La Capitol FCU picking Corelation’s KeyStone system, and BankPlus switching out its legacy tech for Jack Henry.
