BMO Harris Bank teams with Hope Trust to trial services for special needs clients
BMO Harris Bank has joined forces with digital life care and trust planning platform Hope Trust to pilot services for customers with special needs.
As part of the pilot scheme, bank will sponsor 20 clients with one-year licences for the platform, which helps individuals with special needs and their families to manage legal, financial, government benefit and succession planning considerations.
“The Hope Trust platform was created to address the unique and ever-changing requirements of loved ones with special needs and offers the holistic planning solution that has been sought by many such families,” says Daria Placitella, co-founder and CEO of Hope Trust.
“Our partnership with BMO, and their willingness to provide our services to their clients at no cost, demonstrates their dedication to this often-overlooked community.”
Personalised special needs care plans can be accessed and managed by family members, friends and care professionals, and modified at any time.
According to Hope Trust, 32 million families in the US have a member with special needs.
