Locality Bank picks Nymbus to power new digital-first community bank
Locality Bank (in organisation) has chosen Nymbus’s Grow model to launch a new community bank for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in South Florida, US.
The cloud-native Nymbus core banking platform will provide the foundation for the bank’s on-demand online and mobile banking services, alongside a full suite of Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) solutions for essential back-end, middle and front-end elements.
Locality Bank believes there is a growing demand for relationship-focused banks, following the acquisition of the last two community-based banks in Florida’s Broward County.
“We’ve heard the rallying cries from small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) who demand better banking experiences that meet their unique needs both personally and digitally,” says Corey LeBlanc, COO and CTO of Locality Bank.
“Together with Nymbus, we’re building a new atypical bank that delivers the best of what a traditional community bank can offer, while differentiating with technology that can effortlessly adapt and integrate with the latest digital products and services.”
Nymbus’s business process outsourcing (BPO) and call centre resources, along with its go-to-market timeline that met the bank’s needs “exactly”, were key factors in its selection to power the new bank.
