Glenhawk plans lending boost with cloud-based Finastra system
Property finance firm Glenhawk has selected Finastra and its Fusion Essence Cloud banking solution to boost its lending operations.
Founded in 2018 and describing itself as a leading non-bank lender, Glenhawk has issued more than £150 million in loans.
Finastra says Fusion Essence will give Glenhawk “a complete view” of its lending portfolio, delivering “accurate management information in real time”.
The vendor says the system enables Glenhawk to manage its business “proactively” and grow additional revenue streams.
Fusion Essence Cloud is deployed in the Microsoft Azure cloud.
“Finastra’s technology will bring greater efficiency to our loan management process,” says Glenhawk’s CEO, Guy Harrington.
He adds Fusion Essence Cloud will enable the firm to “deepen engagement with our customers, manage our growing loan book and drive overall performance”.
Harrington says his firm aims to become a leading non-bank lender within the property finance specialist sector.
“The partnership with Finastra will facilitate this by giving us one platform to manage multiple products and by scaling in line with our growth plans.”
Finastra has won a handful of deals in the first half of this year, including with Mizrahi-Tehafot Bank, Banque Saudi Fransi, and Baptist Health Credit Union.
Anand Subbaraman, general manager for banking at Finastra, says the Fusion Essence Cloud system enables the automation of end-to-end lending processes. “By turning data into intelligence, the Glenhawk team will gain additional insight into customer needs.”
