Canada’s League Data picks Mambu’s cloud banking platform
League Data, the technology partner for Atlantic Canadian credit unions, has selected Mambu’s Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) banking platform as it looks to upgrade and future-proof its banking operations.
Mambu’s platform will replace League Data’s legacy core banking system to modernise the banking experience for its members.
League Data provides technology leadership in the area of banking solutions to credit unions across Canada’s Atlantic provinces.
Its associate credit unions currently represent more than 320,000 members.
“League Data provides an important service to credit unions, and as we know, a robust digital solution is critical to success in the financial industry,” says Mambu co-founder and CEO, Eugene Danilkis.
“We’re here to help League Data and the Atlantic credit unions make banking better for their end-customers, now and for the future.”
The cooperative company says Mambu was the “clear choice” to lead it into the future.
“We looked at a number of technology providers, and Mambu was the solution that best matched our cooperative culture and business objectives, as well as our future goals,” says Carrie Forbes, CEO at League Data.
“We wanted a new platform that was not only built on cutting edge technology but also adaptable to future emerging technologies such as open banking, blockchain, and artificial intelligence applications.
“We are confident that Mambu will be a strong ecosystem partner within our partner community.”
The deal concludes a busy month for Mambu after it was also selected by Indonesian digital lender Jago to power its development and launch as a digital challenger.
