Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, OakNorth
OakNorth’s Stack Software Engineers are responsible for building the company’s end-to-end web-based platform. They thrive in data-driven and fast-paced environments and drive the evolution of the company architecture. The OakNorth engineering team is organised into cross-functional squads. You’ll work collaboratively with designers, product managers and other engineers to build greenfield features and deploy high quality tested code resulting in amazing user experiences.
You will be able to leverage a wide range of technical skills on a multi-cloud architecture – including technologies like AWS, Python, PostgreSQL,GraphQL, Typescript, React, Docker and Kubernetes – in a mission-critical financial services environment.
This is the job for you if you’re a pragmatic engineer, and value simplicity as one of your core principles. OakNorth is looking for engineers excited to organise around a real customer problem and work as a team to solve it, and iterate based on feedback from users.
Front End/UI Developer (React/ UX), BNY Mellon
BNY Mellon is looking for an experienced Front End Developer to join their ranks. The successful candidate will provide application software development services or technical support in more complex situations. You will need thorough knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle as you’ll be leading the technical design, development and documentation of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems, while analyzing, defining and documenting requirements for data, workflow and logical processes and interfaces with other systems. You will also ensure that expected application performance levels are achieved by coordinating, coding and testing.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related discipline. 5-7 years of experience in software development is also required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus. You must have an understanding of the business impact of future IT plans, and have prior lead experience selecting and implementing vendor-specific methodologies and prior consulting experience with structured methodologies. Extensive experience with developing and supporting front end development is also required for this position.
Senior Product Manager – Prism, Checkout.com
Checkout.com is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join their team. The company’s passion is to change the world of payments and the team sits at the heart of achieving these ambitious visions and goals.
As a Senior Product Manager you will lead a squad composed of Product Managers, Engineers and QAs, supported by DevOps and Delivery Managers.
You will act as a bridge between product, technology and clients to understand desired outcomes, elicit requirements and then translate them into coherent functionalities that can be easily implemented for the company’s innovative and groundbreaking products. You will synthesise and articulate business insights to deliver required specifications and conduct feasibility studies by analysing impacts.
The ideal candidate will have 4+ years’ experience in Product Management, managing end-to-end product lifecycles from discovery to release. You will be a strong advocate of people development, with proven experience in a coaching or mentorship capacity.
A strong technical background is required, ideally a computer science degree, similar qualifications or experience.
