Finansinspektionen goes live on BearingPoint RegTech’s Abacus Regulator
Finansinspektionen, the Swedish financial supervisory authority, has gone live with BearingPoint RegTech’s Abacus Regulator platform.
The regulator is using the platform to analyse regulatory reports from 300 banks and 11 insurance companies. Abacus Regulator went live at the end of June.
According to BearingPoint, Finansinspektionen wanted “a comprehensive and future-proof software solution” covering the regulatory value chain.
The Swedish authority originally picked BearingPoint in May 2020. The vendor is also set to cover implementation, service, and support for the platform, including updates, upgrades, and consulting services.
Finansinspektionen has deployed “the full scope” of Abacus Regulator. This includes the core data collection system, the reporting portal, an identity management framework, and integrated analytics.
“BearingPoint RegTech has proven itself to be a competent solution provider and partner in our journey to improve regulatory reporting,” says Ann-Louise Ulvenvall, director for reporting at the Swedish regulator.
Daniel Kämmerer, head of suptech at the vendor, says the go-live is “another joint milestone for a successful partnership”.
