Business Analyst – Business Consulting Area, Grant Thornton
The deals business is focused on supplying advisory services to the mid-market. This market is growing fast, with Grant Thornton’s share also increasing. The deals business encompasses corporate finance advisory, transactions advisory, business consulting, valuations, and financial accounts.
The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for the financial monitoring of business consulting within the deals business, including preparation of management accounts as well as annual budgets and business plans. You will also provide financial analytical support to enable those teams to be managed effectively.
You will report to an experienced Business Partner on the divisions you are responsible for and you will also be expected to provide cross-deals support as required, as well as being the “face” of Deals Finance Business Partners in the London office.
Senior Consultant, Industry Solutions, Deloitte
Industry solutions adopts a business-led approach to achieving technology enabled transformation. Banking clients engage them to solve their most complex problems, helping them to shape and deliver a strategy in response to new digital competition, the increased focus on the customer journey, and the rise of the number of fintechs revolutionising the competitive landscape.
As part of this team, you’ll work alongside a team of banking specialists from across retail and commercial banking, and will be able to quickly build upon your existing industry knowledge and consultancy skills to develop your expertise. They will be looking to you to help lead project teams and to develop junior staff.
Successful candidates will provide business perspective and support to technology strategy, design, and implementation programmes. You will help articulate the architectural vision, creating models and component and interface specification documents, and validating the architecture against requirements and assumptions, while also supporting the technical lead within your workstream to enable the team to deliver products and services.
Executive Assistant, BNY Mellon
BNY Mellon is a leader in the world of investment services and investment management, supporting the full range of stakeholders in the financial system as well as managing the custody of approximately $37 trillion worth of financial assets of the world’s leading institutional investors, hedge funds, sovereign wealth funds, and corporations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the administration requirements of a team of Relationship Managers including diary management, travel management, and expense management. You will work on moderately complex projects and assist with the implementation of policies, standards, and/or processes.
BNY Mellon is looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline along with 2-3 years of experience in financial services or a business partner function. Experience in the securities industry is a plus. Strong organisation skills and experience in supporting multiple colleagues would also be favourable.
