Bryan Thompson joins AffiniPay as CTO
AffiniPay, the online payments platform for professionals, has appointed Bryan Thompson as chief technology officer (CTO).
AffiniPay expects to process more than $13bn in payments in 2021
Thompson has spent over 25 years building finserv technology platforms and joins the Austin, Texas company as it expects to process more than $13 billion in payments this year.
Previously, Thompson led the launch of in-person, online and mobile payment solutions as CTO of Beyond, a provider of business services for small and mid-sized merchants, helping it become one of the fastest growing merchant service providers in the US.
Prior to that, Thompson served as CTO at Heartland Payment Systems, leading a team of over 400 tech professionals developing and operating the company’s core payment products.
He has also served on the board of directors for Leaf Holdings, a tech start-up delivering tablet-based point-of-sale and analytics to small hospitality and retail merchants.
