Cuscal picks BHMI’s Concourse to support upcoming NPP initiative
Payments firm Cuscal has selected BHMI’s Concourse solution to support the upcoming PayTo initiative by Australia’s New Payments Platform (NPP).
Launched in 2018, NPP is Australia’s real-time payments system that facilitates money transfers between different financial institutions.
PayTo will look to build on the current system and provide customers with more visibility and control over their payment options.
Cuscal currently enables NPP payment processing and settlement services for more than 50 banks and payment service providers.
The firm will now utilise BHMI’s payments software Concourse to help extend these functions to the new PayTo capabilities.
Based in Omaha, Nebraska, BHMI is a provider of product-based software solutions focused on the back-office processing of electronic payment transactions.
Cuscal’s head of product, emerging services Nathan Churchward says BHMI’s solution “provides the flexibility necessary to support the evolving needs and functionality of the NPP platform”.
Jack Baldwin, CEO at BHMI, appeared on FinTech Futures’ podcast What the Fintech? earlier this year, where he discussed the systems and services Concourse provides payments firms.
