Temenos wins long-term deal with Hamilton Reserve Bank
Hamilton Reserve Bank, a private bank from St. Kitts and Nevis, has selected Temenos as its new technology provider.
The bank, which offers private banking, business banking, trust and escrow, money management and incorporation, announced the deal on social media.
It says Temenos will cover its real-time global payments, account opening, Swift gpi deployment, digital banking and data security.
Hamilton Reserve is the largest escrow agent bank in St. Kitts and Nevis, holding a market share of more than 75% for real estate transactions.
According to the bank, its deal with Temenos is expected to last for ten years. Other clients of the vendor in the region include Dominican bank BHD Leon and Haiti’s Sèvis Finansye Fonkoze.
Temenos has also recently won deals with Société Générale and Pakistan-based digital bank UBL.
What kind of business signs a subscription agreement with a software company for TEN YEARS? Btw, how does anyone know if this bank is of any size – they conceal their financial so nobody knows what their deposits are, where/how they’re invested, or who is really managing the place (hint, the real manager has a spotty record and behavioral issues that make Napolean look like Mr. Bean).
