FinTech Futures Jobs: Three amazing jobs to apply for this week
As summer draws to a close (sad times), we’ll all start noticing changes. The weather, the kids going back to school and so on.
These changes may inspire you to make some changes of your own – where your job is concerned, of course.
September is notoriously a popular month for people looking for new jobs and for companies looking for new talent.
So now is the time to act if you are looking for an exciting new opportunity…
Manager, Reconciliation, BNY Mellon
BNY Mellon is invested in embracing the future. Their innovative nature continues to drive change, helping them to transform the global financial markets.
Their teams collaborate and operate around the world, and career development is supported in many ways, from a comprehensive on-boarding programme through to on-the-job training, direct access and visibility to the senior leadership team, mentoring and the opportunity to obtain professional qualifications.
Now, a fantastic opportunity has arisen to become a lead member of a newly formed trade capture and reconciliation function as part of the middle office custodial services team.
This new team will be developing and delivering a brand-new service focused around the accurate capture and reconciliation of derivative transactions for the firm’s custody client base.
The successful candidate will lead a small team within the reconciliation function responsible for performing in-depth analysis of reconciliations.
You will decipher complex exceptions and perform root-cause analysis as to why the exception exists, and you will act as the first level of escalation for complex or serious issues.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience in business management or a related field, along with 4-5 years of total work experience with some experience in management preferred.
Assistant Company Secretary, Checkout.com
Checkout.com’s flexible payments solutions help global enterprises like Samsung, Deliveroo, and Adidas launch new products and create experiences customers love.
Launched in 2012, they now have a team of 1,000 people across 17 international offices. The company aims to liberate smart, passionate people to collaborate, innovate, and do their best work.
Checkout.com is seeking an experienced Assistant Company Secretary to provide a full spectrum of company secretarial services to their group companies.
You will support the Deputy Company Secretary in providing support to the parent company and the rapid growth of subsidiaries globally. You will also play a role in the continued development of Checkout’s corporate governance framework.
The role is broad and varied, providing an opportunity to work within a complex business structure that is ever evolving.
This role requires someone who can work both collaboratively and autonomously while seeing the potential of working in a fast-paced and growing organisation. There is a real opportunity to make the role your own and to add value to the function.
You will be joining a rapidly growing team in one of Europe’s most valuable fintechs. The Checkout Legal and Company Secretarial team’s mission is to be a team that exceeds expectations. They do this by providing trusted advice and balancing risk management by fusing high performance, innovation, collaboration and integrity.
Global Solution Lead – Corporate Lending, Finastra
Formed in 2017 by the combination of Misys and D+H, Finastra builds and deploys innovative, next-generation technology.
They provide a range of pre-integrated solutions spanning retail banking, transaction banking, lending, and treasury and capital markets.
Finastra is currently looking for an experienced Global Solutions Lead to take responsibility for the corporate lending franchise, driving sales pipelines, deal execution, product strategy and thought leadership.
The successful candidate will understand current trends for corporate lending solutions and translate that to Strategic Demand Generation programs, identifying new target markets, business prospects, and cross-sell opportunities in order to maximise revenue potential.
You will maintain regular dialogue with regional sales teams, driving Strategic Demand Generation program execution to ensure pipeline generation targets are achieved and of the right quality.
The right candidate will have extensive corporate lending industry knowledge preferably from within a fintech software sales organisation or financial services institution.
Your knowledge should span corporate lending segments (syndication, agency, secondary loan trading, complex bilateral, commercial/middle market, and SME) and the entire loan lifecycle (origination through to servicing).
