Small and medium-size enterprises (SMEs) are one of the biggest drivers of growth and innovation in economies all over the world.
Despite these companies being a powerful force in the economy, many SMEs find it difficult to raise capital during critical stages of their company growth.
Traditional commercial lending is optimised to make loans that are either too small to be effective or too large and expensive to be practical. At OakNorth, their mission is to help lenders fill this gap, which they refer to as the “Missing Middle.”
They are currently building a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform called the Credit Intelligence Suite, which transforms commercial lending by helping banks build deeper relationships with their clients, open new opportunities, and deliver credit decisions up to ten times faster than traditional models, with lower risk and greater efficiency.
OakNorth is looking for a DevOps Engineer, with experience of infrastructure and release automation in a continuous integration/continuous delivery framework.
The ideal candidate will work well with devs and client stakeholders to ensure mutually excellent outcomes. You will be trustworthy in a situation with a high degree of self-management and have a deep commitment to setting up and automating excellent processes.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of hands-on Product Manager experience in a fast-paced technology start-up, be a strong advocate of people development and have proven experience in a coaching or mentorship capacity.
The ability to work well under pressure, balance multiple priorities and consistently meet tight deadlines will be crucial in this role, along with superb communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary partners to drive outcomes.
