Global Solution Lead – Corporate Lending, Finastra
Finastra is looking for an experienced Global Solution Lead to take responsibility for the corporate lending franchise of the business, driving sales pipelines, deal execution, product strategy and thought leadership.
The ideal candidate will understand current trends for corporate lending solutions and translate that to Strategic Demand Generation programmes, identifying new target markets, business prospects and cross-sell opportunities in order to maximise revenue potential.
You will be responsible for maintaining regular dialogue with regional sales teams and driving Strategic Demand Generation programme execution to ensure pipeline generation targets are achieved and of the right quality.
You will understand clients’ strategic objectives and how Finastra can partner to address them, working closely with product development to translate market requirements into product capability and deliverables.
What does success look like? The right candidate will have extensive corporate lending industry knowledge preferably from within a fintech software sales organisation or financial services institution.
This knowledge should span corporate lending segments (syndication, agency, secondary loan trading, complex bilateral, commercial/middle market and SME) and the entire loan lifecycle (origination through to servicing). You will also have detailed knowledge of product and service requirements of corporate lending institutions, particularly around front to back digital transformation.

You will work closely with customers and partner with the growing Product and Engineering teams to solve real customer problems. As one of the first designers in the product team, you will have the opportunity to define and build OakNorth’s design systems and hire a team of exceptional designers around you.
You’ll be involved at every stage of design work – from defining and developing early product prototypes to executing crisp visual designs. This is a cross-functional and problem-solving role. You will work closely with customers and the Product and Engineering teams to ensure that the company is listening to their customers and solving their problems in the best possible way.
